Can this phone beat Redmi Note 7.
Design and Display — Classy looks and Premium Display
This is the best part of a Samsung Phone, it gives you the best design and displays possible. Its body is polycarbonate which gives it a glass like feel. It has an infinity-O Display which is not often seen in mid-range smartphones. The display is nearly bezel-less and gives you more viewing area. You can stream full HD contents easily. It has a 91.8% screen to body ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass with SUPER AMOLED Display and 2340*1080 Full HD+ Resolution.

- Super AMOLED
- 2340*1080 Resolution
Camera — An improved one
The camera is improved from previous Samsung Galaxy Mobiles but the improvement is not enough to beat the competitors. Expect this mobile to get social media ready pictures only. This is not the kind of camera you want. The low light photos are not good at all. The wide-angle camera is good, you can get a large area in a single click. It has a 32+8+5 MP Triple Rear camera and a 16 MP front camera.

Performance and Software — Good Performance, RAM and Storage
The gadget gets the same processor as of Redmi Note 7 Pro which is actually a good thing. Snapdragon processors are always best. It has an option for massive 6GB RAM and 128GB Storage. You will not get any problems in playing high-end games. I played PUBG for a long time and it ran smoothly for 1 hour without any frame drop and lag. Even After that, it was not that problematic. The reason behind improved performance in this Samsung device is that it is not getting the Exynos processor. I am not saying that Exynos is a bad performer but it is not good enough in Low-Budget and some mid-range smartphones. You can do multi-tasking properly. It gets Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor and the latest Android Pie. You have to use type-c earphones as it does not gets Audio jack.
